5060 is made by Bag of Marshmallows AB, a Swedish company (org. nr 559320-6294, Huvudstagatan 27, 171 58 Solna, Sweden). We are the data controller for the personal data processed in 5060. Questions: privacy@5060.rocks.
What we collect

Account information: name, email and profile picture.

Location: your live position while you use tracking features, including position estimated from our 3D scans when GPS is weak or unavailable.

Voice notes and transcripts: messages you send with the walkie-talkie. Transcription happens on your device.

Usage and analytics data: how you use the app, crash reports and device information.
Why we use it

To run the app: show maps and scans, track your team, deliver voice notes.

To share your position and messages with the team members and followers you choose.

To improve the app and fix problems.
Our legal basis is performance of our agreement with you, and our legitimate interest in improving and securing the app. Where we rely on consent, such as location access, you can withdraw it any time in your phone settings.
Who can see it
Your live position and voice notes are visible to the people you share them with. Anyone you share with needs the app, which is free. We never sell your data.
Service providers
We use these providers to run 5060. They process data only on our instructions.

Convex: database and app backend.

Modal: processing of scans and data.

Bunny CDN: file storage and delivery.
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. When they do, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while your account exists. Location history, voice notes and transcripts are kept until you delete them or your account. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data from the app right away, and it is removed from backups and caches within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, deletion of or a copy of your data, and object to or restrict processing. Contact privacy@5060.rocks. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Our lead authority is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Children
5060 is not intended for children under 13, or the higher age required in your country.
Changes
We'll post updates here and notify you in the app if changes are significant.
